Should the application be made in stages?
Very often, application of lime over two years can be appropriate in order not to modify the soil's behaviour too quickly, except when corrective liming is needed urgently. The frequency of analysis must also be taken into account. If the frequency is 4 years, two limings over 4 years would be appropriate. If the analyses are more spaced out, it is necessary to estimate the plot's future behaviour.
