Préparations Naturelles Peu Préoccupantes ("Natural Preparations of Little Concern") consist of herbal teas, decoctions and other preparations based on plant extracts. They are used in phytotherapy as a basic substance to reduce the use of phytosanitary products. However, based on current knowledge, their effectiveness remains partial and in most cases they have to be combined with phytosanitary products. Plant extracts can also be biostimulants: they promote the plant's development and/or enable it to fight against abiotic stress (drought, hail, frost etc.). Some plants can also act as PDSs and enable plants to fight against biotic stress.
